Non Repro Magazine

Non Repro was founded in early 2010 as a small indie publishing outfit, specialising in UK manga, comics and illustration, publishing small anthology style ‘zines on a regular basis.

Our first four issues were A5, monochrome with colour covers and presented a broad range of styles and approaches to UK Manga. A steal at £2.50 an issue, they are still available at Orbital Comics, comic conventions in the UK and our online store. We also have our Jiman Special – a collection of nine entries to the 2010 Manga Jiman Competition and our newest collaboration: ‘J-Cult‘, an A4 colour extraveganza of awesome UK artists and comickers.

Anime Picks reviewed the project saying: “Non Repro magazine is a small collection of UK comic artists and writers, it supports the small press market by delivering comic strips that would not usually be seen in chain stores… With gorgeous covers inside and out, the magazine truly jumps out at you, and is well deserving of a read. Packed full with plenty of comics from the comedic Broom Squad, to the short strip from Café Suada on how a comic strip is born, there’s plenty to entertain.” (You can read the full article here).

Non Repro Magazine and its associated publications can now be found along side my own work in the online store. No future publications are planned as I would like to concentrate on my own comics for a while. Appearing at art exhibitions in London and teaming up with other small press and indie companies, Non Repro is still committed to supporting emerging artists and small creative businesses.
